Hello!  Nice to meet you!

From the moment I could make sense of all there is in the world- I was hungry….  Anything that had something to do with food, I was there…..  As I grew up I cooked simple meals learning the basics with what I could.

Then, I started a family….

And things got more even more serious!  I had hungry people that required something to eat, and quick!  I had to learn how to cook different meals to suit our needs and life as a busy family.  As I kept doing this, my passion for culinary continued to grow.  My kitchen became my lab for testing recipes and cooking techniques as I took several culinary classes.  With the social butterfly that I know as my wonderful husband, and my love for food- dinner parties for families & friends were catered, and food events were frequently attended.  While doing so, I was blessed to live in Hawaii – a place of many different cultures that intrigued me and pushed me to try foods that we sometimes might not want to experiment with…

And my love for the culinary sector continued to flourish….

As this passion grew, my desire to do something with this passion grew as well.  But I was afraid to take a step out of my comfort zone and possibly derail plans that my husband and I already have regarding our careers.  My husband said “start writing down your ideas, recipes, and goals and see where it takes you”.  About one year later our Savory Spicerack Food Blog came out kicking and screaming…..  This eventually led to our Official Savory Spicerack Catering Business.

My kitchen became my lab for testing recipes and cooking techniques as I took several culinary classes.
